Shawn Bullard is president of the Duetto Group, LLC, a Washington, DC-based public policy shop. For more than 25 years, Mr. Bullard has provided CEO’s, members of Congress, and federal, state, and local leaders the tools to design public policy solutions in partnership with high-level stakeholders.
He is the former Vice President of Government Affairs for a global Interpublic Group company, and a senior congressional staff member to a long-serving member of the House Armed Services and Transportation Committees. He also has a strong respect for state and local government, having worked directly with governors, mayors, and county executives early in his career.
Mr. Bullard’s insight on the intersection between disruptive technologies and public policy has allowed him to serve as a trusted resource to scholars at the Woodrow Wilson International Center, as a representative on the interagency Y2K White House Task Force, as an advisor to delegates on the federal Advisory Commission on Electronic Commerce, and as a voice on the FAA’s UAS Center of Excellence’s ASSURE Corporate Advisory Group.
He often lectures at universities on how emerging trends impact public policy and sits on multiple boards and advisory committees. He holds a Masters degree from George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government and actively serves as a leader on its alumni board.
